Dr. G. has provided training and workshops for educators at the local, state, national and international levels on many topics, including race and racism, multiculturalism, Black male achievement, positive parenting, post-secondary options, social-emotional learning, and social justice, activism and crisis response.
The job of communicating with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds and experiences to achieve equitable understanding and change is one that needs great skill, personality, and continuous learning. Dr. G. provides practical sessions with educators to appreciate the demands of the times and how to deliver on them.

Environmental exposures in school buildings such as poorly ventilated air, uncomfortable temperatures, inadequate lighting and more can negatively impact student health. Dr. G. conducts environmental audits to help schools better the learning conditions in their schools.
As educators, our success in reaching or connecting with students, lies heavily on our morale and energy to uplift and get students to share their lives with us. Being an educator, Dr. G. has developed personal practices to keep him active and ready to deliver his best nearly always to students.
