Low self-esteem, by far, accounts for a greater percentage of negative personal and group choices among young students or even adults that often lead to cutting, bullying, smoking, drinking, substance abuse, and the like. Dr. G. has, for 19 years, been helping students in elementary, middle, and high school levels nurture and grow their self-worth.

Relationships are an important part of any person’s life. This is especially true for adolescents who experience a strong desire to explore friendships and romantic relationships. Dr. G. appreciates how nerve-wracking navigating this new space may be. He does not just bring his counseling experience to bear but establishes a connection with the students who have been in that same position years ago as a student.

Dr. G. has made it a personal mission to help adolescents, especially, detach from over-reliance or obsession with online trends to define who one is. His sessions are intensive but produce the needed result.

The advantage to have in mental health and suicide prevention is to have the eyes to identify symptoms or tendencies, the heart to accommodate, and the patience and skill to nurture or gain mastery in controlling these symptoms.
